While Lionel Messi is known for his footballing achievements, the Argentine is also building a reputation with his clothing brand and with that being said, here are some of the most expensive items from the fashion label.

What happened?
The 34-year-old is one of the biggest names in football and reminded us all in August when the Paris Saint-Germain club shop’s Messi shirt was sold out in just 30 minutes. The website also crashed upon the release of his much-anticipated tee.
In 2019, the Messi Store has officially launched and the brand has grown ever since as they continue to regularly release new merchandise.

What do they sell?
The clothing brand offers everything you need from sweaters, jackets, pants, key chains, hoodies and bathrobes.
The most expensive stuff?
Despite the brand only two years into existence, some of the clothing items can be expensive. The label’s costliest item is the Messi Detachable Camo hooded puffer jacket, which is worth $195 (R3 128).
If you looking for a sweater to keep you warm during winter then it will cost you around $85 (R1 363), while their sleek tech flex weave chinos are valued at $50 (R802), according to the brand’s official website.
With that being said, Messi’s label might have all these stylish goods but they are actually known for their $65 (R1 043) zip pocket sweatshirt which combines a plain jersey and adds a zipper on the top left side.
This is unique and different because it gives you the warmth of a crew neck but the benefit of a jacket.
Did you know?
According to Forbes, Lionel Messi will earn $110 million (R1.7 billion) in the 2021/22 season, making him the second-highest-paid footballer in 2021.
