In the coming days, every traveller aged five years and older, arriving in Newfoundland and Labrador will be provided with COVID-19 rapid test kits. This program is voluntary but strongly recommended for all travellers entering the province to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.
Rapid tests are used to help screen for COVID-19 infection. Anyone who tests positive with a rapid test must immediately self isolate and complete the COVID-19 Assessment and Referral form or contact 811 to book a test that will be completed by a healthcare provider.
How to Use the Rapid Test Kits
If at any time you develop symptoms of COVID-19, you must self-isolate and visit the COVID-19 Referral and Assessment or contact 811 to book a PCR test.
